Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all service areas, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Assist with food preparation, busing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Use beverage knowledge—including spirits experience and wine expertise—to recommend pairings and upsell specialty drinks like cocktails or fine wines Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to enhance overall satisfaction Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proven ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques Ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously through excellent time management skills Familiarity with sales techniques such as upselling and openTable reservations is advantageous Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively environment!
