Dulce Cafe & Gelato, a locally owned and managed Cafe in southwest Durham is hiring a barista/server part-time to work front of house during morning and evening shifts. Duties include preparing handcrafted coffee and espresso beverages and running food, while providing friendly customer service in a busy cafe environment. You must be able to accurately handle register transactions, maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, restock inventory, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. You mut also be able to communciate and work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and provide a positive customer experience while in a fast paced environment. You must be available to work Saturdays. Prior experience in cafe or restaurants preferred. Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Thorough menu & product knowledge.
• Ability to use a POS System.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Take special orders and accurately quote pricing and details.
