Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness, including cocktail and spirits service. Upsell menu items such as wines, specialty cocktails, or desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling duties with integrity and attention to detail. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food safety standards, wine pairings, and beverage options like spirits and cocktails. Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing or cleaning to uphold sanitation standards and ensure a tidy dining environment. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Support food preparation tasks when necessary, including basic food handling and sanitation practices aligned with food industry regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while managing multiple tables in a lively setting such as fine dining or nightclub environments. Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances efficiency in order processing. Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of wine types, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures within the food industry.
