Server Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a vibrant environment that combines dining and private events. In this hybrid role, you will primarily serve guests our signature Southern cuisine in the dining area, while also supporting the bar by crafting beverages and managing bar service. Additionally, you will help provide service during hosted events in our venue. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be crucial in providing a high-quality, memorable experience for all of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional tableside service, including taking orders, serving food, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal. Engage with customers to offer recommendations, answer questions, and create a welcoming atmosphere. Operate the Toast system for order processing, payment handling, and managing tabs. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations. Handle cash and card transactions accurately. Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service, especially during events and banquets. Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards Help monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience as a Server, Bartender, or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, with an understanding of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation being a plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills with a focus on hospitality. Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems; Toast experience preferred. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid food handler's certification.
