In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details and wine or beverage pairings Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are followed at all times Assist with food running, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently Experience Candidates should possess prior experience in food service or hospitality roles, ideally with fine dining or nightclub environments. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. A background in culinary arts or kitchen experience can be an asset. Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent time management skills, strong customer service abilities, and a passion for creating positive guest experiences. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling is essential. Previous host/hostess or serving experience will be considered a plus. Candidates should also have familiarity with upselling techniques and guest relations strategies to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guests enjoy their visit.
