Food runner/ Busser

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing used dishes and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service. Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in culinary arts or hospitality can enhance your candidacy. Experience in kitchen operations or cooking is beneficial.
