Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted precisely. Provide expert recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards typical of fine dining establishments. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, promptly addressing any concerns or special needs. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper table clearing to uphold cleanliness standards in a sophisticated setting. Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours. Qualifications Proven experience as a server in upscale or fine dining restaurants; nightclub or high-end hospitality experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order processing. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations gracefully. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising service quality. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques. Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, bussing, or host/hostess positions is highly desirable.
