Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing exceptional hospitality to our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, develop your skills in food preparation and guest services, and contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they have a positive dining experience.
- Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately.
- Manage table settings, ensure glasses are full, and maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
- Provide exceptional guest services, including helping guests with menu selections and addressing any concerns.
- Process transactions using a POS system, handling cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitize all areas of the dining room.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of dishes and maintain a smooth service flow.
- Upsell and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and with empathy.
Skills:
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with a focus on exceptional guest service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using a POS system.
- Strong sales and guest relations skills.
- Familiarity with food preparation and the ability to assist with food preparation as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy restaurant environment.
Job Types:
