Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms. Take accurate food and beverage orders while demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items, including specials and wine pairings. Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs with precision. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed during food handling, preparation, and serving. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations. Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for reservations and order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management. Experience in serving or host/hostess roles that involve guest relations and hospitality duties is advantageous.
