Job Description
Overview $3.00 an hour PLUS TIPS, nights and weekend availability required. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our front of the house team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting in various food service operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. Ideal candidates will possess customer service expertise, with a passion for the food industry. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to service or food quality. Adhere to all health regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Ability to work independently. Self motivated Night and weekend availability. Experience with POS systems (Square) is preferred. Culinary experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices. Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
