Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, including OpenTable reservations when necessary. Provide detailed menu information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience. Ensure all food safety standards are met while handling and serving food. Deliver orders promptly and accurately, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures regarding guest services and culinary practices. Qualifications Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
