Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Shift 4 POS system and communicate effectively with kitchen staff Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, respond promptly to requests, and ensure a high level of customer service at all times Handle cash transactions accurately through POS ; process payments efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols including sanitation and food handling regulations Assist with food preparation (prepare house made sauces/dressing, salads when ordered) and provide kitchen support as needed in a fast-paced environment. Support guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied Experience Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred Strong knowledge of food service operations including serving techniques, food safety practices, and sanitation standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Shift 4 is a plus Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales while providing excellent guest service Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Background in food industry roles such as host/hostess, bussing, or food preparation enhances your ability to succeed in this position Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations are essential Join us in creating memorable moments for our guests!
