Full Time Server

Position Summary The Server position is responsible for ensuring the consistent preparation of the dining room, serving of food and beverages during meals, and clean-up after meals. The Server must be able to follow directions and execute procedures established in the Dining Services Department for the completion of regular designated duties. Pleasant interaction with residents, staff and guests is imperative to carry out the responsibilities of this position. The Server is a full-time or part-time hourly position. 1. Prepares seating chart and meal count 2. Documents Dining Services Report 3. Sets tables with tableware, cold beverages, cold food, and condiments 4. Assists in food and beverage serving 5. Clears tables, cleans floor and removes trash after each meal 6. Disinfects tables and refills condiments after each meal 7. Assists with dishwashing responsibilities 8. Prepares carts for next meal 9. Removes dirty towels and empty boxes to designated locations 10. Performs other cleaning duties as assigned 11. Collaborates with the Cook and other staff as needed

• High School Diploma or GED
• Satisfactory criminal background check
• No substantial findings on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry
• Satisfactory drug screening
