Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing exceptional customer service. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation practices. Support kitchen staff with food preparation or bussing tables during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow. Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency. Assist with host/hostess duties when needed, including managing waitlists and coordinating table turnover in a lively environment such as a nightclub or fine dining setting. Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately. Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
