Part-Time About Us EmberCraft On Main is an exciting new brick-and-mortar restaurant born from our successful mobile food truck. We specialize in Smokehouse Fusion—crafting traditional hardwood-smoked meats like brisket and pork belly, and elevating them with bold Asian, Caribbean, and Mediterranean flavors. We are looking for passionate, energetic team members to help us bring our unique culinary vision to the Taylorsville community. Role Summary As a Server at EmberCraft On Main, you are the face of our restaurant. You will guide guests through our unique fusion menu, offering recommendations, answering questions about our smoking process and flavor profiles, and ensuring every guest has an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities Welcome and seat guests with a warm, genuine, and friendly demeanor. Master the food and beverage menu to accurately explain our smokehouse fusion concepts, ingredients, and preparation methods. Take food and drink orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, checking back with tables to ensure satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized dining room, including bussing and resetting tables promptly. Handle guest checks and process payments securely and accurately. Collaborate closely with the kitchen and the rest of the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service. Complete opening and closing side-work duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications Previous serving or customer service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right personality. A positive attitude and a team-player mentality. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong communication skills and a passion for great food and hospitality. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and late evenings. Schedule & Hours We are open Wednesday through Sunday. We offer the following shifts and require open availability for the days you are scheduled: Lunch Shifts WednesdaySaturday:
