We are a haunted bar and grill located in Thomasville NC, And we are seeking experienced wait staff who are willing and wanting to dress up on occasion, either as a Halloween character, or cosplay character while working. We specialize in great food, fantastic craft drinks, and a spooky atmosphere. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced haunted dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders using the Skytab POS or Shift4 POS systems, ensuring all guest preferences are noted. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service are essential.
