Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server / Bar Server, where your passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service will shine! Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS ensuring timely delivery Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and card transactions accurately, including handling cash register operations with POS systems like Aloha or Micros Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; bus tables and assist in food preparation as needed Use OpenTable/Toast or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently and optimize table turnover Demonstrate extensive beverage knowledge, including spirits, wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and food industry trends Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, and special requests Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast; experience with OpenTable is a plus Proven ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food safety standards Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, bussing tables, and guest services roles such as host/hostess or cashiering Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for hospitality makes every guest feel valued.
