Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our establishment. Duties Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout all food handling processes. Process payments accurately through cash handling or cashiering duties. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales revenue. Familiarity with fine dining service standards is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and payment processing. Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, including hosting or bussing, is beneficial. Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry.
