Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math for checks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
