Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Process cash and card transactions accurately, including handling tips and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables promptly to prepare for new guests Assist with food handling, beverage preparation, and basic food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other processing software Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest relations Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques Experience with upselling strategies to boost sales and enhance guest experience Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or busser is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey in the hospitality industry where your enthusiasm makes a difference.
