Join our dining team and help create a welcoming, enjoyable experience for our residents every day! This part-time position offers a consistent weekday evening schedule (4:00pm-7:00pm) plus every other weekend (7:00am-2:00pm), making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work. Job Summary:
The Meadows is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented dining room server to join our dining services team! This role is essential in providing a positive dining experience for our residents by ensuring high-quality service, assisting with meal service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist residents in a warm and friendly manner. Take meal orders and serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently. Ensure the dietary needs and preferences of residents are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting tables, refilling supplies, and clearing dishes. Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations. Assist residents with mobility needs as required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Provide a high level of customer service and contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Culinary.
Qualifications Requirements:
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation (training provided). Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
