Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, or OpenTable Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas including bussing and resetting tables Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment Follow all laws and restaurant procedures for alcohol service, including verifying identification, preventing service to minors, recognizing signs of intoxication, and involving a manager when service must be delayed or refused Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems preferably including Toast POS for sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs gracefully Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items like cocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty beverages effectively Good math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Experience with beverage service including drink mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and cocktail preparation Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
