Steakhouse Server

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Square POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance guest experience. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns. Uphold high standards of guest services by addressing inquiries or complaints with professionalism. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions. Strong guest service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting. A passion for culinary arts and providing memorable dining experiences is a plus. Night, weekend, and summer availability is expected and required.
