Reports To Restaurant Manager / Shift Supervisor Position Summary The Food Server is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals accurately and efficiently, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The Food Server serves as a key representative of the restaurant, maintaining professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail while supporting team members to achieve operational excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival. Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations regarding food and beverage selections. Accurately take and enter guest orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Serve food and beverages according to established service standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces. Assist with table setup, resetting tables, and side work duties. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Support fellow team members during busy periods to ensure seamless restaurant operations. Attend team meetings and training sessions as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry trays for extended periods. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Experience with POS systems. Knowledge of food, beverage, and wine service. Experience in casual, upscale, or fine dining environments.
