Job Description
Job Summary We are on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Banquet Server to join our hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the face of our event service, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable dining experience. Whether serving at elegant banquets, corporate events, or special occasions, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is passionate about guest services, has a knack for food and beverage presentation, and thrives in lively, fast-paced environments. Duties Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring presentation aligns with event standards. Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, and service stations. Clear tables efficiently while maintaining cleanliness throughout the event. Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and beverage service including wine knowledge and drink mixing when needed. Support catering operations by bussing tables, replenishing supplies, and ensuring guest comfort throughout the event. Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and handle any special requests or dietary needs promptly. Maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance Must have availability to work nights, weekends and possibly holidays Ability to stand for extended periods of time Experience Prior experience in food service or hospitality is highly preferred; banquet experience is a plus. Familiarity with fine dining service styles and beverage service techniques Background in catering or large event service helps in managing high-volume settings smoothly. Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
