In this role, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. You will take meal orders, serve food and beverages, clear and reset tables, and assist with basic dining room and dish room responsibilities. Meaningful work serving older adults Supportive, team-oriented environment Consistent work in an indoor, climate-controlled setting What You'll Do Greet residents warmly and provide friendly, attentive service Set and prepare dining room tables before meals Help residents find comfortable seating Take meal and beverage orders Explain available menu options when needed Serve meals, beverages, desserts, coffee and tea Refill water and offer additional servings Clear and reset tables between meals Help keep the dining room clean, organized and welcoming Assist in the dish room, including operating the dishwasher and putting away clean dishes Safely store and return walkers and other mobility devices Attend required meetings and in-service training Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and coworkers Complete other dining service duties as assigned What We're Looking For Friendly, patient and dependable personality Genuine interest in working with older adults Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to stay organized in a busy dining environment Ability to work well as part of a team Previous restaurant, food service or wait staff experience is preferred, but not required Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds Reliable and punctual attendance Apply Today At our community, residents come first.
