Overview We are on the lookout for a friendly, energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through excellent service and a welcoming attitude. Whether you're seasoned in food service or just starting out, your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure every guest leaves happy and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation practices. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including fine dining options, to answer guest questions confidently and provide recommendations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes. Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is advantageous but not mandatory. Willingness to learn about menu items, wine pairings, and upselling techniques to maximize guest satisfaction.
