Server Hills of Herat - Afghan Restaurant | Martinsville, NJ Hills of Herat is looking for dependable, friendly, and professional servers to join our team. We are hiring for all shifts, with a particular need for lunch shift coverage . We value our employees and do our best to work with everyone's schedules to create a schedule that works for both our team and the restaurant.

Important:

This is an hourly position. Pay is not based on tips. Pay and Benefits $19-$21 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications Hourly pay, not tip-based Complimentary employee meal Consistent scheduling Flexible scheduling approach: We work with employees to accommodate their scheduling needs whenever possible Supportive, team-oriented work environment Schedule Hiring for all shifts Lunch shift availability is especially needed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is strongly preferred Holiday availability is required Must be dependable and punctual for scheduled shifts Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service Seat guests when needed and provide menus, water, and sauces Take orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally Answer questions about menu items and assist guests with their selections Check on guests throughout their meals and address concerns professionally Clear and reset tables efficiently Keep dining areas clean, organized, and properly stocked Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hospitality Qualifications Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and customer service skills Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude Reliable, punctual, and responsible Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods Willingness to help with duties beyond taking orders when needed Strong teamwork and attention to detail About the Position At Hills of Herat, we believe a strong team starts with treating employees well.
