Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Restaurant Server, where your energy and passion for hospitality will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes, beverages, and specials. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct processing of sales transactions. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment. Manage guest relations by addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or cocktail options and resolving any concerns swiftly. Support opening and closing duties including cash handling, inventory checks, and sanitation compliance to uphold restaurant standards. Experience Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Experience with wine service, spirits, cocktail mixing, and upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transactions; previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous.
