Experienced Restaurant Server Reports to: General Manager and Jersey Prime Management Staff Position Summary At Jersey Prime we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities Promote teamwork creating a positive work environment. Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them efficiently. Provide exemplary menu recommendations and knowledge of Jersey Prime food and beverage items Create meaningful, memorable experiences for our guests, while fostering a culture where hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. Properly execute all necessary steps of service. Build a strong, collaborative relationship with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams, ensuring alignment of all business goals and initiatives Work closely with your management team to stay connected to guest feedback. Seek out every opportunity to enhance the guest experience and build a community of loyal regulars. Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a server in a fine dining restaurant, with a passion for great service and a strong hospitality mindset Strong food and beverage knowledge, with a keen attention to detail and understanding of proper steps of service Positive attitude, reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills Warm, inviting personality with a commitment to making guests feel at home and delivering industry-leading hospitality Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.

Working Conditions:

The worker is subject to extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions such as wind and humidity. The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.

Physical Requirements:

Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Standing:

 Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time

Kneeling:

Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.

Reaching:

Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction

Talking:

Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly •

Hearing:

Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound. • Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Pay:

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
