Summary:

Make up to $200.00+ a day! The Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest inquiries or concerns. Servers must possess strong communication and multitasking skills to manage tables efficiently and work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members. A commitment to maintaining restaurant standards of quality and cleanliness is essential. Flexibility in scheduling and a friendly demeanor are key to success in this dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting providing excellent customer service
• Take food and beverage orders
• Answering questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverages
• Stay updated on current menu choices including food and bar specialties, menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items
• Understand and can communicate products and services available at the restaurant
• Assist in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the kitchen staff
• Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, napkins, refilling glasses
• Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change
• Takeout orders as needed
• Maintain a clean and efficient working environment
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Responsible alcohol serving and abiding policies
• Setting up and cleaning party events
• Complete sidework duties
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous serving or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Customer-Focused Attitude:

A friendly, approachable demeanor and a commitment to creating a positive guest experience.

Multitasking Ability:

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Math Skills:

Ability to handle transactions, provide accurate billing, and process payments.

Capability to stand, walk, and carry trays of food or drinks throughout shifts.

Adaptability:

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Willingness to work collaboratively with all staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Work Environment:

Servers will be on their feet, moving quickly to manage tables, deliver orders, and assist guests. The work involves close teamwork with kitchen and service staff to maintain efficient operations. Shifts may include weekends, evenings, and holidays to accommodate peak dining times, with adherence to health and safety standards.
