Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive, managing wait times and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Take and relay guest orders accurately, utilizing OpenTable or similar reservation platforms to optimize seating flow. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including , spirits experience, and beverage service standards. Process sales transactions smoothly, handling cash and credit card payments with accuracy while adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols. Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring food handling safety standards are met at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure timely delivery of orders while providing excellent guest service and managing guest relations effectively. Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to upsell and serve guests confidently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude; ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and courteously. Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and sanitation practices. Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is advantageous; food industry knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu offerings and food safety standards. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights when necessary, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
