Job Overview Join our Gruham Indian Kitchen (yet to open) team as a Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help deliver exceptional dining experiences! In this dynamic role, you will act as the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Duties Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables or designated service areas, maintaining quality and presentation standards. Assist servers by delivering food orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely service. Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management using clear and professional language. Buss tables when necessary to ensure a clean dining environment for all guests. Handle guest requests courteously and promptly, contributing to an outstanding guest experience. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for understanding order flow. Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality can be advantageous. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are vital for engaging with guests and team members effectively. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting comfortably. Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience will help in supporting food preparation tasks when needed.
