Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system and ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details and wine pairings, to assist guests effectively Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in American Diner's with a breakfast focus Strong knowledge of POS systems Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest relations Ability to multitask effectively with exceptional time management skills in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with guests confidently Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
