Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to guests' tables, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety. Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, supplies, and equipment following safe lifting practices. Support the kitchen staff by transporting ingredients or supplies as needed, adhering to food safety and handling protocols. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate timely service and address any special requests or needs. Maintain cleanliness of service stations and ensure all food running equipment is sanitized and organized for optimal efficiency. Support banquet or large event service by managing multiple tables efficiently and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper manual handling techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining good physical stamina; experience with heavy lifting is advantageous. Strong communication skills with a focus on in-person customer service and guest engagement. Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or supporting culinary teams enhances your fit for this role. Restaurant or hotel experience that demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced settings is highly valued.
