Server / Front of House — Dan Zai Restaurant (Ramen & Sushi House) Dan Zai is an Asian-fusion ramen and sushi restaurant looking for a reliable, all-around server to join our front-of-house team. This is a hands-on, multi-role position — you'll be the face of the restaurant from the moment a guest walks in to the moment their order goes out the door. We're open daily from 11:30am to 9:00pm, serving a steady mix of dine-in guests and a high volume of delivery orders, so this role requires someone who can juggle multiple responsibilities at once without missing a beat. What you'll do: Greet and seat guests, manage the host stand, and help create a welcoming first impression Take orders and serve tables throughout their meal Answer phone calls, take phone-in orders, and handle guest questions Manage and input orders from DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats Pack takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently Operate our POS system for order entry, payments, and daily transactions Communicate with the kitchen to ensure order accuracy and timing Keep the front of house clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the shift What we're looking for: A dependable, hard-working individual who can multitask across hosting, serving, and order management Comfortable handling a fast pace, especially during lunch and dinner rushes Clear communicator — both with guests on the phone and with the team in person Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to packing and verifying delivery/takeout orders Comfortable learning and using a POS system (training provided) A team player who can jump between tasks as needed throughout the shift Prior restaurant, hosting, or serving experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule:

Shifts available within our operating hours of 11:30am-9:00pm. We are open 7 days a week, so availability on weekends and holidays is a plus.
