Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell menu items such as cocktails, wines, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain knowledge of menu items, including spirits, wines, and food ingredients to answer guest questions confidently Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and serving processes Assist in setting up tables, cleaning workstations, and resetting tables for new guests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues quickly Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism to foster guest satisfaction and loyalty Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for processing orders and transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs effectively Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation techniques Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in food handling and serving roles Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as serving, clearing tables, or assisting guests comfortably Join us if you're passionate about creating lively atmospheres where guests feel valued!
