Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment for our Summer season. The ideal candidate will have flexible availability and be able to work nights and weekends. Candidates who have availability to work in September and October are strongly preferred but not necessary. Applicants who are interested should contact our General Manager at (732) 272-4119 by text or phone call, to organize a time to discuss in-person at One Willow. Duties Buss items off of tables in a professional manner. Re-set tables in a professional and expedient manner. Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table, including utensils, condiments, and napkins. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Help with food handling and presentation to ensure high standards of quality are met. Support catering events as needed, assisting with setup and breakdown of food stations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others in a team-oriented atmosphere. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed in the hospitality industry. Join us as we strive to create memorable dining experiences for our guests!
