Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team in a casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and well taken care of while maintaining high standards of food service. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments using the POS system, handling credit transactions accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Uphold restaurant policies regarding food safety, hygiene, and customer service standards. Skills Previous experience in the food industry, is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously. Knowledge of Italian food. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
