Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including specials and wine pairings Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities using POS systems like Resy or similar platforms Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS, Micros POS, and Rezy; familiarity with food industry software is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding food preparation and safety protocols Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order calculations; ability to perform simple calculations quickly and accurately Experience in serving, bussing tables, hosting/hostess duties, or guest services enhances your candidacy Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional service in a lively setting!
