Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and beverage options Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery Upsell menu items by providing enticing descriptions and personal recommendations Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and maintaining proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including food handling and beverage service protocols Assist with setting up tables, refilling supplies, and resetting stations to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours Build rapport with guests through excellent customer service, guest relations, and personalized recommendations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery of dishes Manage guest inquiries or concerns professionally to foster positive relationships and repeat business Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with brunch, lunch and dinner restaurants Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during high-volume periods Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Food industry background preferred for better understanding of menu items and food safety standards Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting Exceptional customer service skills coupled with guest relations expertise to create memorable dining experiences Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food handling, kitchen experience is a plus Open-minded attitude toward learning new skills such as drink preparation or advanced POS functionalities Minimum of 3 years as an experienced server in a full service restaurant Taking orders over the phone for take out Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences through energetic service, expert knowledge of food & beverages, and a friendly attitude.
