Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Back Server and Food Runner to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately while providing exceptional guest service. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to cleanliness will help create a memorable dining experience for every guest. Duties Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guests efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and safety standards Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables quickly to ensure smooth service flow Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting trays, boxes, or supplies within the restaurant Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including wiping down surfaces and organizing utensils and condiments Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure a welcoming and responsive environment Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices Strong communication skills and in-person customer service experience to engage positively with guests Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic food preparation techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
