Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, and ensures every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your customer service skills in a lively, fast-paced environment that values professionalism and teamwork. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, utilizing reservation systems like OpenTable when applicable Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently and handle cash or card transactions securely Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales while maintaining genuine enthusiasm Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are met Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, resetting tables quickly for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with food preparation, serving techniques, and basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing attentive guest service Host/hostess experience or prior customer service roles in hospitality settings will be considered a plus Join us to deliver memorable dining experiences through energetic service, culinary expertise, and genuine hospitality.
