Duties Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing, with precision and integrity. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper sanitation throughout the shift. Assist in food preparation tasks, including basic cooking, assembling orders, and managing food safety protocols. Support team members in delivering excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest needs and inquiries. Skills Proven experience in food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Demonstrated ability in upselling and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety management practices. Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable; retail or grocery store experience is a plus.
