Job Summary:

We are a Vietnamese restaurant seeking an experienced server to join our team who can potentially move up to management roles. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages to our guests in a timely manner. Must be available to work weekends as needed. The restaurant is located in downtown New Brunswick. There is only metered street parking or parking decks that you will need to pay for if driving in. Please keep that in mind when applying.

Duties:

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus and explain any new items to customers
• Take accurate food and drink orders
• Deliver orders to the correct tables promptly
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
• Upsell additional items when appropriate
• Clear tables and maintain a clean dining area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Outstanding guest relations skills to provide top-notch service
• Familiarity with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to become a valued member of our restaurant staff!
