The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions, including specials, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation according to restaurant standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Culinary experience or knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial for maintaining high standards of food handling. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
