Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Server(s) to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for great food and experience in providing exceptional customer service in a casual, yet busy dining setting. Our restaurant is established and booming and we're looking for a day time/weekday server 10am
- 5 pm for our lunch shifts as well 2-3 evening servers. 4pm
- 9 pm.. Out goal is to enhance our team by bringing in professionals who are eager to make money and provide great service.. Our restaurant is soon to be featured on a nationally syndicated TV show and we're preparing for a crazy busy off season. Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Present menus, make recommendations, and take food and drink orders
- input orders in Point of Sale system
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items
- Basic math skills for order taking and bill calculation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and help out where needed
