You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar platforms. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure all food safety and handling standards are met, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the service area. Deliver food and beverages promptly while checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Maintain a clean work area, including tables, utensils, and service stations throughout the shift. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. Strong guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Experience with food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
