Full-Time / Seasonal Job Summary Montclair Golf Club is seeking a friendly, polished, and service-driven Server to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests in both casual and upscale club settings. The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the high standards expected at a private golf club. A strong passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently are key to success in this position. Responsibilities Greet members and guests warmly, presenting menus and daily specials with professionalism and enthusiasm. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage offerings to enhance the dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the club's POS system, ensuring timely and clear communication with kitchen and bar staff. Deliver prompt, attentive service from order placement through meal completion, ensuring member satisfaction at all times. Upsell food and beverage items when appropriate to enhance the guest experience and support club revenue goals. Efficiently manage multiple tables through strong organization, time management, and attention to detail. Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with club policies. Collaborate with fellow servers, bartenders, hosts, and management to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with additional service-related duties as needed, including supporting host/hostess functions during busy periods. Address member and guest concerns professionally and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary. Must be able to stand long periods of time and able to lift or carry up to 25lbs Experience & Qualifications Prior restaurant or club dining experience preferred; experience in fine dining, private clubs, or upscale environments is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable. Background in food service roles including serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or bartending is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. Previous experience with suggestive selling or upselling techniques is a plus. Pay:

$18.00-$20.00 per hour
