You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for guests from the moment they sit down through the end of their meal. This includes guiding guests through the menu, accurately entering orders, delivering food and beverages, and making sure guests have what they need throughout their visit. The right person is attentive, personable, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a busy restaurant team. What You'll Do Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional table service Guide guests through food and drink selections and answer menu-related questions Accurately enter food and beverage orders and communicate special requests to the kitchen Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly Monitor tables throughout the meal and respond to guest requests Follow up with guests to ensure their dining experience is going well Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables Prepare and present guest checks and handle payments accurately Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, bartenders, and other members of the service team Follow restaurant procedures and applicable food-safety standards What We're Looking For Prior restaurant or serving experience is a plus Positive, approachable attitude and strong customer-service skills Clear and professional communication Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders Ability to stay organized and focused during busy periods Comfortable standing, walking, and carrying food, beverages, and trays for extended periods Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment Knowledge of basic food-safety practices Schedule & Availability We are looking for someone who can be dependable and flexible with their availability, including evenings, weekends, and busy restaurant periods.
